It is with profound sadness that we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Malaysia’s 5th Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who left us on 14 April 2025.
Tun Abdullah, fondly known as Pak Lah, was a man of wisdom, humility, and integrity. His leadership marked a time of calm and compassion, guiding Malaysia with a steady hand and a sincere heart. He served the nation not just with political acumen, but with a genuine love for peace, progress, and unity among all Malaysians.
His tenure from 2003 to 2009 was defined by his emphasis on Islam Hadhari, civilizational dialogue, and transparent governance. He believed in a government that listens, a society that thinks, and a future built on knowledge and values. His quiet strength and modest demeanor left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire.
Tun Abdullah was not just a statesman—he was a devoted family man, a respected scholar, and a beacon of humility. Malaysia mourns the loss of a great leader, but his contributions will forever live on in the hearts of the people.
To his family, we extend our heartfelt sympathies. May you find strength in the memories of his life, and may Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah.
